How the AI works and learns
Deligo’s AI-powered kiosks use built-in cameras to instantly scan items placed on the kiosk base. Unlike traditional systems that rely on barcodes or weight-based detection, the AI compares the scanned product to a database of thousands of reference images, analyzing features such as shape, color, and packaging details to find the best match. Once identified, the product’s name and price are displayed on the screen, allowing customers to quickly review their selections before proceeding to payment.
For the AI to recognize a product, it requires up-to-date reference photos in its database. If a product isn’t photographed or doesn’t have enough images, the AI may struggle to recognize it.
