Solution: Check the power connections
If the kiosk screen is completely black, follow these steps to ensure all power connections are secure:
1. Wall plug connection
- Verify that the power cable is firmly plugged into the wall outlet
- Ensure the plug socket is functional by testing it with another device
2. Kiosk connection
- Confirm that the power cable is securely connected to the kiosk itself
- Look for any signs of damage to the cable or the port
3. Adapter/transformer connection
- Locate the adapter/transformer and check the connection between the two cables
- Make sure both cables are fully inserted and there are no loose connections

Black screen on kiosk with LED lights on
Solution: Perform a hard reset
If the kiosk screen is black but the LED lights on top of it are on, follow these steps to resolve the issue.
Hard reset:
- Unplug the kiosk from the power source
- Wait for 1 minute to ensure a complete power cycle
- Plug the kiosk back in and power it on
