This guide outlines the steps required to activate and configure WIPay for use with Deligo AI checkout kiosks. 

WIPay provides a (web-based) connection between the payment terminal and a cash register, such as the Deligo kiosk.
By configuring the payment terminal to WIPay, the terminal can be connected to a web-based cash register via the internet.

Please note that Deligo provides the integration with Worldine.
The Client is responsible for initiating and preparing all requirements necessary for WIPay activation.

1. WIPay Activation with Worldline

Firstly, please contact Worldline to initiate the WIPay activation.

In your request, ask for the following details:

• Subscription of WIPay (host access)
• Delig (ECR) connection, if not yet active. Kindly note that a payment terminal should be available with an active cash register (ECR) connection in order to finalise the activation.

The Worldline team will then share a contract that the Client has to fill in and sign.
 

2. Payment Terminal Requirements

Ensure that the POI (serial number) of each terminal is assigned to the Deligo scheme by Worldline.

3. Physical setup

Once the prerequisites are fulfilled, follow the official Worldline WIPay guide starting from chapter 3 to finalise the physical setup: “3. Connecting cables”.

4. Deligo Dashboard Configuration

After having completed the activation, configure each device in the Deligo Dashboard.

Please log in to the Deligo Dashboard using your username and password, then navigate to the Devices page from the menu.

Device Details Page

• Payment terminal:
  → Select “Worldline WIPay” from the dropdown
• Terminal ID:
  → Enter the terminal ID provided by Worldline
